DreamHack Montreal qualifiers revealed

DreamHack has announced the details concerning the European the and North American open and closed qualifiers for the Montreal event.

DreamHack Open Montreal will see eight teams battle it out for their share of the $100,000 prize-pool from September 8-10. With two qualifying spots up for grabs, teams wishing to attend the event will be able to compete in the regional qualifiers, from August 26-27.

Montreal will stage the next DreamHack Open event

In both regions, the qualifiers will be split into two phases. The first stage will consist of a 512-team open qualifier, with the top eight teams moving on to a closed stage, in which they will face off against other eight invited squads.

Here is the schedule breakdown for both qualifier stages, as revealed in the official announcement:

Europe

• August 26 - Open Qualifier - Starts at 15:00
• August 27 - Closed Qualifier - Starts at 12:00

North America

• August 26 - Open Qualifier - Starts at 23:00
• August 27 - Closed Qualifier - Starts at 20:00

To sign-up for the qualifiers, teams have to open a support ticket on ESEA with "Montreal EU" or "Montreal NA" as subject, "Events" as the ticket type, and provide the following information:
