Sprout and Ancient have earned the last two spots at the Europe Minor after defeating OpTic and Tricked, respectively.
After OpTic fell to MOUZ in their first attempt to make it to the Europe Minor, they were set to face Sprout in the lower bracket for the last chance to gain a spot at the precursor to the StarLadder Major.
The day continued in surprising manner after NoChance beat HEROIC to one of the spots on offer, with the German side around Timo "Spiidi" Richter taking the Danes by surprise, as well. The series saw Sprout claim an early lead, after a strong CT side made Mirage go their way, and solidify their place at the Minor on the deciding Dust2 on the back of a dominant offense.
draken & co. are through to the Europe Minor
The eighth and last Minor spot was up for grabs between Ancient, who had previously taken down Windigo and ended up on the losing side of a tightly-contested series against North, and Tricked.
With an admirable performance across a 2-0 victory and particularly on the opening map, William "draken" Sundin brought the former Epsilon core back to the Minors, where the AWPer once made his name at the beginning of 2016 with CG.
The team list for the Europe Minor, set to take place on July 17-21 in Berlin, Germany, is now complete:
